The water from the Lavey Spa & Resort comes from a “hyperthermal” source, drawn from a depth of between 200 and 600 metres, right next to our Medical Centre. Water spouts at 62°C (144°F) from the first channelling point, at a rate of 400 litres per minute. The second point – used only since 2000 – jets out a huge quantity of 70°C (158°F) water at a rate of 600 litres per minute. The whole thermal site is powered by this natural, clean resource which provides the energy and heating we need.
